Andre is an award-winning Immersive Director, Creative Technologist, and New Media Graduate that has built a reputation for delivering cutting edge technical projects.

In the world of enterprise technology, Andre implemented high frequency trading and disaster recovery systems before becoming a full-time creative.

Since then, Andre led the technical elements of both production and post-production on Beyoncé's certified platinum "Live at Roseland" concert film, which served as the first 10 camera multi-cam shoot of its kind on the RED Digital Cinema Camera system.

2017’s project, "Drizzy Manor", an interactive VR ArchViz project received over one million views in the first three days after launch and coverage from international media outlets including Teen Vogue, Esquire, GQ, Hypebeast, and Polygon and went on to over 10 million views within 6 months.

In 2019, Andre led the efforts to create the interactive systems driving a 32 foot long video wall for the first 5G-enabled retail storefront in Canada, the Rogers "302" flagship.

In the last year, Andre directed a VR product for Chatroulette.com, built a virtual performance platform for Deadmau5, was an AR Creator In Residence at Snap and joined the Advisory Board for the AR/VR Program at Vancouver Film School who’s previous alum include director Kevin Smith and Oscar nominees Neill Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell.

Recently, Andre was awarded a Mega Grant from Epic Games for his upcoming VR game, focused on the threat of the climate crisis called “Innocents in the Fire”.

Biography

2005:

  • Attended University of Toronto at the age of 16 after receiving early acceptance at the age of 15;

2008:

  • Systems Analyst at Canada Pension Investment Board;

2011:

2014:

  • Unreal Engine 4 became publicly available via a subscription model and I pivoted my career towards real-time interactive work;

2017:

  • Released Drizzy Manor and moved into the immersive industry, full-time;

2019:

  • Was selected to be part of Oculus' 2019 Launchpad Cohort;
  • Created the technological foundation for the Rogers 302 Interactive Wall;
  • Built a prototype of an open world survival game based on the work of artist, Beeple;

2020:

  • Created a next generation, immersive MVP for Chatroulette.com;
  • AR Creator-In-Residence at Snap;
  • Received an Epic Mega Grant from Epic Games.
